**Encoding**

**Transmit capabilities**

- Automatically matches profile, quality, codecs and packet structure of original stream in real time with no configuration

**Playlists**

- Best practice
  - Minimum look-back window of 1-2 minutes
  - Maximum look-back as short as possible for best performance
- HLS Manifests
  - Media Sequence aligned across renditions for InStream ad insertion
  - Program Date Time in media playlists
  - Codecs, Frame Rate, Width, Height, Bandwidth in the master playlist
- Dash Manifests
  - Multi-period or Single Period
  - Segment Templates or Segment Timeline
- Additional Supported Features
  - Separate and multiple Audio Media groups
